International Youth Summit is a community/platform of 100K+ youth from 85 countries for learning vital soft skills to lead a better personal & professional life. IYS is a sustainable youth development program of WSDA New Zealand.
Our History
Since human resources are the most valuable asset, developing the younger generation for learning soft & hard skills can assure the future economic growth of any country. Current job market is becoming highly demanding and more complex day by day. Hence, addressing the skill gaps is more critical than before.
Keeping that in mind, the foundation of international youth summit platform was launched in the year 2015 in New Zealand to connect the youths round the world, to provide soft skills for sustainable youth development to achieve the SDG by 2030. IYS form to support the youth to have easy access of developing soft skills for their better personal and professional life.
2015
Starting off
International Youth Summit (IYS) with the support of the youth from 18 – 40 years globally, hosted it's mega event in every two years. Besides, IYS host personal and professional development conferences, national & international youth camp, youth fests, all officials conferences, youth exchange program, study tour, excursion, internship, special events / day celebrations, skills development trainings, seminars, competitions and discussion, etc. every year.
2016 October
First Summit
1st summit was organized in Bangladesh in 2016 with the participants from 11 countries with the slogan “Spread Across the World”.
2018 February
Second Summit
2nd summit was held in Nepal with the participants from 19+ countries in 2018 with the slogan "Participatory Youth Leadership for Sustainable Development"
2020 May
Third Summit
The 3rd summit was schedule in Malaysia, in February-March 2020, however, due to pandemic, the summit was hosted virtually from 18 May 2020 to 17 May 2021, the longest virtual summit ever of the world history. There were 120K participants from more than 85 countries enrolled for the event online during the pandemic. The slogan was "Leave No One Behind" and "Act, Don't React"
2022 December
Forth Summit
The 4th summit held in India in December 2022 with the participants from 7 countries with the slogan "Raise Your Standard".

2023 May - June
IYS Ambassador & CC Officials Meets
All successful IYS Ambassador and other CC Officials will join for skills development in Sri Lanka or Maldives at Holiday Resort for 4 days.
2025
Fifth Summit
The 5th Summit or IYS2025 is planned to organise in Picton, New Zealand in 2025. Join IYS as a registered member now to get 75$ gift voucher to join the summit (Confirm date will be publish in October 2024).
IYS Ambassador Program
The prestigious IYS Ambassador Program is Back…! Apply today to become one of the hundreds of IYS Ambassadors to improve your personal and professional skills for success and opportunity to visit SIX destinations for exclusive and transformational leadership training program by IYS & WSDA New Zealand.
The IYS Ambassador program will run for two years in every phase and IYS will select ambassador after every four to six months. The graduate of the ambassador program will also receive recommendation letters for their higher study application, scholarship application and for visa application as recommendation from IYS & WSDA are highly valued by the universities, organizations, high-commissions and embassies. IYS Ambassador is totally a voluntary position. Successful ambassadors will receive scholarships in different forms.

Last year 2022 we have successfully done more than 100 national and international events in Bangladesh, Nepal, Malaysia, and India to provide opportunities to our IYS members to gain knowledge and upgrade their skills for personal & professional development.
